The project aims to explore the integration of 3D printing and wood in the design and fabrication of a chair. Inspired by the principles of simplicity and efficiency, it seeks to create a chair that embodies structural integrity and aesthetic appeal while employing minimal parts and assembly complexity.

Delving into various fabrication processes, including transformative, additive, subtractive, and hybrid methods through meticulous research and analysis, a diverse array of architectural and industrial design precedents that exemplify each of these fabrication techniques is collected. This investigation encompasses projects ranging from structurally rigid forms crafted through 3D printing and lamination to intricate designs achieved via CNC milling and laser cutting.

In the realm of design innovation, the synergy between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge fabrication technologies presents boundless opportunities for creative exploration. With a keen focus on simplicity and efficiency. This project aims to reimagine a chair through the integration of 3D printing and wood encapsulating the challenges and simplicity through an easy self-assembly system.

The design focuses on space efficiency hoping to eliminate the usage of heavier space-consuming furniture. A design that is both functionally and ergonomically beneficial, but also possesses minimal and clean aesthetics, that allow them to harmoniously blend with any living space.
